I like all different kinds. I just listen to whatever I feel like sometimes I listen to Spanish, sometimes English... :-P Spanish music has a different taste to it so I sometimes listen to it but most of the time it is English.

I personally don't see a difference but I'm not going to argue as crazed fans would know...

I do think it has a little difference, but it's really hard to tell. Rap and Hip-hop, is getting blended to the point that it can't be differentiated.

no, i would beg to differ, it isnt that blended, it is quite easy to tell which is which. simply listen to whats being said, in general, if its all about drugs, murder, cars, alcohol, and misogyny then its highly likely its rap. on the other hand, if its all about self improvement, politics, working with your fellow man, instead of against him, and other such, generally positive messages, then its probably hip-hop

the only two people who have ever really skated the line between the two with any finesse are Nas and to some extent, Kanye West

me, myself and i, started out listening to rap from Dre, then went to X-Zibit, then Eminem, then 50 Cent, then the rest of G-Unit, now, i would much rather sit and listen to some Brother Ali, Felt, Atmosphere, or something else along those lines than anything from Interscope records

True, but the words doesn't matter. It's the style of the song itself. Hip hop is soft, and it sounds to me like usher. They got vocals. Rap is like eminem, and it's just talking, just with a beat.

Yea very true words don't really count but I consider Rap not even music since it doesn't even have any singing it is just someone talking but like Hycari said with a beat.

I like a very wide variety of music. I'm not much of a country or rap music fan, but I will listen to them on occasion. I prefer alternative and modern rock to just about anything. Lately, though, I haven't been listening to music so much as I have been listening to podcasts on iTunes.

You know what i like to play the music too. But i dont like opera much. I like to listen the hip-hop music and some thing that just mix-up with the heart beat and give me a dfferent knd of feeling.
