i hate school
my Windows server 2k3 class didnt have a teacher for the first class, showed up second class, the last time the new teacher taught a windows class was server 2000, she is so clueless, i can tell i am going to have to teach myself.
my other classes are coming along fine, i need to throw together a box for Fedora for my linux class though, probably going to use my old Pentium 3 board/processor/RAM, i think i have a spare like 8GB hdd somewhere around here, that should be sufficient no?
also, if anyone knows anything about hacking, PM me, i am taking a Security + cert based course where a lot of our labs are apparently going to be attacking/defending each other in class
Hi,
Don't worry, I shared the same feeling when I was in school (and now) ;)
A Pentium 3 with 8 gigabyte hard drive would be absolutely perfect for a Fedora box - it should serve you flawlessly, especially since the Pentium 3 architecture are serious workhorses clock for clock.
At least you have interesting IT classes - the most interesting we had was Java - the rest were word processing
